I finally got around to watching Confessions of a Dangerous Mind this weekend. I loved it! Sam Rockwell was brilliant and George Clooney looked charmingly stodgy. Excellent balance of flashy auteurism and plainspoken narrative on the part of Clooney's direction. I give it a 9/10.
I also watched the bonus footage for the Concert for Bangladesh this weekend (somehow it ended up in my queue before the actual concert??). I loved what I saw and can't wait to see the concert film sometime this week.
Also, I recently watched Grizzly Man. I highly recommend this documentary. It seems a little canned and sentimental at first, but it grows on you. This film haunted me for days after watching it. I give it an 8/10.
