My industry has its big conference scheduled for NOLA in September next year, and there's already talk of people skipping it because of the lack of amenities available. There's a severe lack of cabs, and lots of of the restaurants are short staffed according to some of my coworkers in Metarie.
If "attractions" include hookers, then those are apparently back though. Just sayin'.
