I've ridden in the front and the back, and I have to say that your perspective drastically changes depending on which seat you're in.
The ride-alongs I've been on were quite amusing - driving all over the grass in his car looking for a burglar in the tech center, doing breakneck speed to meet 5 other cars at a house that had a burglary
in progress, and all sorts of things that make you feel warm inside.
Like checking all the doors of the elementary school just to make sure they'd locked 'em up tight
