You know the ones: Lorenzo Lamas or Shane Somebody-Or-Other takes on a gang of drug dealers, mobsters, psychotic truckers, or foreigners, trying to save the family business, or farm, or name. He's usually an ex-cop or green beret.
They must make money or they wouldn't bother producing them, so where does the money come from? International sales? Cable TV distribution rights? Gas station sales for $6.99?
