Maybe not too tall, just too tight (my first impression). I'm such a dumb American...I thought that was blood spattering, not a maple leaf

The outline is a tad thick, perhaps 1px down, which would increase the empty space between the lettering(the 'i's almost disappear as it stands). Many years ago my art teacher told us that when vertical letter meets vertical letter, they will always appear closer, so you should eyeball the space between by using the example of the indentation of the R to the I, not the outward curve. The opposite would apply to the relationship between the L and the O...see how they look further apart than the rest of the word? Those two should almost be touching.
