Yeah, remember the congressional testimony just after 9/11 where she was asked about the warnings they'd received?
(I paraphrase: )
"Do you remember the name of the memo?"
*shrug* "I think it was... like, something silly like, "Bin Laden Determined To Attack Inside United States" or something. I mean, you know, isn't that wacky? Who'd pay attention to anything like that? I mean, who could have known that was meant as a
warning?"
All her body language and expression in answering that question told the whole story about how little regard they gave Clarke or his warnings.
