The 40 Year Old Virgin
Finally got around to seeing this film, which I rented in part because I love Steve Carell in The Office. Anyway, in the end I didn't like this film. I knew it was going to be crude, and I'm not too often turned off by crudeness, but in this case I was. There was funny parts, but it was lowbrow, lowball humour. Just above pee and poop jokes. Carell is funny, but not as funny as in the Office, and the other characters are really not funny. Except the Indian guy who says something like "Love is about family and passion, not about giving the rusty trumpet or the dirty sanchez." Now that I laughed at. But only for a short time.
I'd have to give this movie a 4/10.
