Australia has lost another icon - Peter Brock. In 2005, he was rated British Motor Sport magazine rated him the second best touring car driver in the world. He won the Bathurst 1000 (1000km endurance race) an incredible nine times.
Similar to Steve Irwin, he died doing what he liked best - racing cars.

This guy is an absolute legend in Australia and one of those guys who seemed absolutely bulletproof. It seems even more of shock than Irwin, who always appeared to take risks - Brock was a consumate professional.
I wonder if there is a point where certain 'entertainment' professions are seen as just being too dangerous?
