Umm, what DNA evidence? No one's announced anything of the sort that I've seen.
I don't think that there's a conspiracy here, just
potentially a false confession by someone looking for attention. He may have done it, along with the murder in Alabama that's now being discussed, but he may not have. There's nothing in his criminal record to indicate a violent history, and he even seems to have gone so far as to marry some of his victims.
