Here are a couple that I use:

Forecastfox
This gets weather forecasts from AccuWeather.com and displays it in any toolbar or statusbar.

Web Developer
This extension is essential for any web developer/designer. It adds a menu and a toolbar with various web developer tools that are really helpful.

I'd also recommend the NoScript extension as Cervantes mentioned. It prevents annoying popups unless you explicitly allow a site to run Javascript.
