First thing, as NotAnAlias suggested, check those wall jacks. If there's no network in your office then other efforts are somewhat wasted. Even if the tech returns with your "fixed" system you could be back where you started.
Of course someone must have done this already. I just can't see it in the thread.

We had the offices painted.
My computer in my office is fine, but in another office I have 3 computers\workstations set up. Two of them were back online as soon as they were hooked up, so the network connection in the room seems to be working fine. Its just that one PC that won't let me log on. At this point its in the tech's hands, I'll let you know if I find out how it was fixed.
