Yeah ... I noticed their Shelby error, too. I'm a fan of those machines and the GT-500s should be based off of the '67-68 Mustangs. The one they have is based off of the '65 or '66 which makes it more of a GT-350 with a few "modern" appointments.
Still .... I actually do like the GT-500E (the modernized Shelby) from the film. The PGR folks just got it wrong.
But that's not enough to spoil the game for me.
