I'd really love to see my true family tree and its a shame we humans have such short attention spans to really pay attention to those who came before us.

Everyone can take part in National Geographic's "Genographic Project" which analyze your DNA as part of a larger world wide survey to determine your ancient ancestry and where your forefathers truly came from. It won't give you the name and occupation of your great-grandfather - it will tell you where your ancestors came from in the deep past.

Male DNA donors will have their male ancestry determined and female donors will have their maternal ancestry investigated.
