b) Apollo 11 landed on the moon I was just a little past my first birthday... I have norecollection.
c) John Lennon was shot I don't remember where I was, but I remember thinking, "so what"? Some hippie was shot. I later came to appreciate who he was but I still can't deify him as some do.
d) the Berlin Wall fell I was in University. Don't remember where I
e) the 9/11 attacks occurred I was walking the streets of Stockholm, oblivious to the attacks. I didn't find out until I went to a cafe to check my email and saw someone looking at the image of the falling towers on the computer next to mine.
f) the first attack on the World Trade Center occured? No idea.
g) the Gulf War started? In the hospital getting my appendix removed. I went under with the threat of war and woke up with the bombs dropping
h) the US Space Shuttle Challenger accident occured? At school. Came home to see it all over the news.
i) the US Space Shuttle Columbia accident occured? In my car on the way to Best Buy. Saw the disintigration over and over on a wall of TVs in the store.
