I haven't seen any other responses to this. Will the direct chat link be reinstated? I can get there on my own, but it's less convenient and without it, newcomers won't even know it's there.
Chat is where I really began to connect with other members and come out of my lurker shell. I'd hate to see that interactive environment not fully taken advantage of.
