Extracting audio from Flash file?

Is there a simple way to extract an audio stream from a Flash file? I Googled it, and saw a number of places offering to sell programs that do this and a lot more, but (a) I just want the audio for this one song and (b) I don't see anyone discussing those programs, so I don't know how far I trust them.

I'm trying to grab the theme song for PEEP and the Big Wide World, an amazing kids show. My kid loves the song, so I want it on my iPod, but I can't find the song for sale (I bought 3 DVDs of show episodes, however) or download or file sharing.

I could go with Audio Hijack to on my Mac to redirect the audio stream, but I'd rather do a direct extraction. Macintosh or Windows solutions are welcome.
