I haven't watched the OC seriously since the first season. At that time, I was impressed with the writing. It's ability to deliver a cross generational prime time drama was relatively unprecedented (and if that doesn't work, it is my job to know what's on TV).
This year, I have only watched a couple of episodes and only tuned into the season finale because I'd heard someone was going to die. It was a surprise to me because I had no idea that Barton was trying to leave the series.
I agree that if she doesn't "make it" with these three films, she will be outta there.
