I took allergy shots for 7-8 years of my childhood. They work for some people, but not for me. Every time I had a shot, I had a reaction. They did not help me at all, but they could help you. If you want to invest the time, I suggest trying it...but if it doesn't work after a few years, it's alright to just use an over-the-counter antihistimine.
