XBox, Gamecube, and Game Boy are all incredibly dumb sounding names (everyone hated them at release as well) but now no one thinks about poorly named consoles when they're mentioned. Wii is certainly odd, but I don't think it will affect sales at all, just as the aforementioned consoles weren't affected. I guess Wii'll see how this plays out in the upcoming months (sorry, I had to).
