It doesn't matter what you do and how much money you make if you aren't happy. You have to follow your own heart.
There's a great book by the Gallup company called "Now, Discover Your Strengths." Yo read about 75 pages and then take a test on-line that tells you your top five talents from 34 out there. These are the things you have the best chance to really develop. This might help you figure things out.
