If you hire a good enough lawyer, you can get a DWI changed to an infraction.
Fuck yeah. I'm out two grand but I don't have a DWI on my record.
Come to think of it, I've been arrested four times and charged each time, but I don't have any kind of record. Let's hear it for public defenders and good lawyers when needed!
