I would think it more likely that his view simply changed over the period of almost 10 years before I called the man out as a hypocrite. This fallout may have been building up for quite a while. Nevertheless, my perspective on many things have changed based on experiences that personally affected me. It does not mean I'm a hypocrite. It means I've learned from the experience and am probably in better position to express myself on the issue.
