I ended up buying it too. There are a few bugs, but they're pretty minor. Sometimes the commentator may get cut-off during an instant replay, for example. I jumped straight into the career mode myself. My current record is 24-3-0 with 22 KO's and my reputation status is "Next Champ". It's addictive.
Oh, and the Burger King is in it. Haha! I thought the blatant advertising in the game was kinda silly, but having the Burger King as a trainer is just hilarious.
