I use Windows Media Player for both Audio and Video, however, I am not sure I haven't seen this anywhere else, but.....

Windows Media Player doesn't have mp3 ripping capabilities by itself, but if you just install iTunes and load it once, it installs a DRM-less mpe codec in Windows Media Player, so that you can rip mp3's without any issue in WMP.

Is there any other cool shortcuts that may be out there to use?
