The service was wonderful. I looked through the visitors book at the funeral and estimating by the signatures there were probably about 300 people who came to the visitation and funeral combined. There were so many people that the funeral home had to open up their overflow areas and there was still standing room only.
Later at the cemetary the local national guardsmen gave him a 21 gun salute.
It couldn't have been a better sendoff for this great man.
