I say go with a 4-stroke. They may not be "quite" as manageable as a 2-stroke, but the difference isn't all that great. Alot of that is gonna depend on how large of a bike you get IMHO...

And the added torque of a 4-stroke is just worth it to me, to be able to cut out from a dead stop, and not have to have that "building up speed slowly" kinda feeling from a 2-stroke....

But if you're willing to drop the $$$$, a newer bike would probably make you more happy...
