I hate the emotionlessness of it all. Ok smileys/emoticons may help in msn etc, but there's still this lack of emotion that I just can't handle. I've had so many arguments with mandy over IRC that were completely unnecessary (<--I checked the spelling before I put that in
) or were only started because one of us took something the wrong way. Either she was being sarcastic or I made a bad joke - the fact remains that you can't see facial expression and you can't hear tone of voice.
Oh and when they say something like "I was shouting at him but he couldn't here me". And badly placed commas.
Pisses me right off.
