Yeah np. Have your friend post some updates. I find the subject pretty interesting myself. I know some folks online who do the same sort of thing. Using simple algorithms to screen for potential stocks to buy or sell. Also, if your friend hasn't already, he should look into what are called CRON JOBS. That's some sort of process that other people use to update stock data.
