I don't think thats distasteful. The man likes to fly, and has the money to support it, so why not? It's not any different than people building a bigger garage for their car collection habit, or, on a much cheaper scale, but one that more people here might relate to, computer building/tinkering/modding. It's his hobby. At least he isn't putting gold trim along the cieling or some of the other shit you'll see on an episode of
Cribs.

But I bet his neighbors love the sound of a jet taking off in their backyard...
