erm, i wouldn't recommend it.
it's doable, but
1. you'd need to install/set up a server (webserver such as apache for http, or ftp for ftp)
2. you'd need a shitload of upload bandwidth
... i'd say, if you want to share a few random things
privately then an ftp server's your best bet.
other than that, no, you prolly shouldn't go there
