Fair 'nuf. What does it for me is some sense of being attainable. While I'd jump all over a DB9 I'd have to win the lottery to afford the insurance. On the other hand, an Ariel Atom or Lotus Exige are at the edge of what I could afford while keeping something else more reasonable for daily duties.
BTW, I would be much more terrified driving Eleanor on the streets than the Lotus. There's something sacred about that car.
