I'd also like to see other stats about those cities (population differences, income strata, etc.). I think it would be very telling.
I'd also like to know what is meant by "safe".
I too live in Toronto. I grew up in some of the roughest neighbourhoods in the city and yet never felt unsafe.
I don't live too far from Fresnelly and have the same take. There are few places that I wouldn't feel safe in this city.
