Disable piracy protection protocols?
Is there any way to make it so Windows doesn't care about copy protection?
The reason I'm asking is because I just bought the new Beastie Boys cd, Solid Gold Hits, and when I put the cd into my computer, Windows Media player can't even run the damn thing. I need to use the provided flash program to run it.
I've heard in the past that there's a file you can delete that pretty much tells Windows not to even look for licenses or anything like that and just play the media file. I'm not asking about this for any pirating reasons, I just want to be able to listen to the cd's that I bought on my own computer without installing some stupid program.
Thanks!
