ok....since my family lives in WV, this should be an easy question. I'll go through it logically....
Great, Great Grandparent has kids.
Kids get married to other people and have kids. (Great grandparent and grandparents)
Grand parents are cousins, making them your 3rd cousins.
As the line goes down, I'm thinking these would be your 4th or 5th cousins.
My conclusion is that the genes between you should be different enough that no wrong should come should you get serious and procreate.
Now some may say...oooo, you're related stay away. However, most people can't follow their family tree to Great-Great grandparents, especially if there were many kids born to them and down the line. So some people may be with a distant relative and not even know it. However, I may not be the best expert since my family has double cousins and I got hit on at the only family reunion I was dragged to.
Tough choice, but it's your life and I've learned not to pass judgment because I live in a glass house
Good luck!
