This sucks I have TO on 3 of my Yahoo Fantasy teams. (Of course I also have Chad Johnson, Harrison and Houshmanzadeh so I'm not dying, but it sucks.)
I think this sounds like the Eagles are trying to appease the rest of the team and trying to show they have a backbone. Unfortunately, this in my opinion is the wrong reason to do it as TO has a legitimate beef.

So he did all those things and I am not saying they were right, but obviously the Eagles never felt the need to suspend him for any statements before. So he says stupid things and puts his foot in his mouth, big deal, players do it all the time. I mean he may say stupid ass things and do stupid shit but he helps his team win and goes out there and does the best he can do, and that's all any team can ask for.
These are big boys and a major league organization, if they can't take TO's little tantrums, then they best not listen to radio talkshows, watch any sports shows or pick up any sport mags where they may get criticized by the fans, because the fans are a hell of a lot meaner than TO ever will be.
Hell, look at Manny Ramirez and Boston, Boston's in the playoffs and in the middle of them Manny's telling the press he wants a trade..... WTF that's far worse and more clubhouse trouble than anything TO has said.
So why now, what makes this time different?
And this time it is a legit argument. He's right any other organization would have had some type of celebratory affair for his 100th TD. It's pathetic of the Eagles not to have. So he does have a true point about them disrespecting him.
Now if TO went and popped on a piss test, or told ESPN that "well, there maybe a few balls this year that Donovan throws to me that well..... I may not get to or bobble and have a hard time holding onto." Basically saying he'd dog the rest of the year, THEN the Eagles would have some reason to suspend him.
Of course all this could be about his ankle. He may feel he can play on it and the team believes he needs the rest, so instead of sitting him, or taking "pride" away from him by telling him he's too injured to play, they "suspend" him. My guess is this is the true reasoning behind the suspension.
