The greatest poem twas ever written,
was one that was so true
It spoke of love and tenderness,
a feeling that was new
It said the things that I would say,
if I could find the words,
It portrayed the essence of a soul,
who's memory had been stirred
It went into a great detail,
it left no words unspoken,
It whispered of a spirit that,
forever won't be broken
It gave a smile to all who read,
and as they read they knew,
the poem was written for a girl,
as beautiful as you
The writing seemed to make some sense,
to those that knew of love,
The spirit written in those lines,
made them think thereof
It brought a smile to my sad face,
it took away my blue,
Because my love the greatest poem,
was one I wrote for you
