Ohh, Atropos4...your post made me want to cry. I'm sorry you've had such a horrible experience with girlfriend, but at least you've got alpha phi to kind of make up for it. But I know what you mean about wanting a close girlfriend...I went through the majority of last year without a close girlfriend, and it was only this year in the winter that I found my two closest girlfriends at college, and managed to add a third this spring. It is nice at times to be able to come to the ladies' lounge and just let loose and know someone will understand.
I want to let all of you know how much I value your friendship, your caring, your listening skills and your feedback. Hugs and kisses to all of you, and thank goodness for girlfriends!
