If it was me id just use winzip or winrar like they said b4. As for a devise that holds more than 1 gig. Ever think about dvd's? they hold 4.7gigs. They also sell bigger flash drives than 1 gig. Also you could get a external HD or a External enclosure and put a hd in it. For backup i use a 60 gig hd inside a external enclosure. But i also use DVD's if i want to travel light.
