think remote control computer to home. i use tightvnc from tightvnc.com
most IT people are lazy so the 5800 ports are not blocked since they use it too to connect from home etc.
you set up the service side at home and then you can either use a client or just use the java enabled one to use it from a web browser which ever is easiest... the other day i didn't have a phone number so I use VNC on my Palm and connected to home to get the number from an IM window that I chatted with earlier in the day via VNC from the hotel here in Manila... and my PC is in NYC
