Number one key to working with computers is to have a good attitude. This shit happens and if you can laugh when it does you're ahead of the game.
Working tech support, I've seen some crazy stuff. I laugh on the phones (with prudent use of the 'mute' button, of course) and smoke like a chimney on my breaks.
