This may sound like I'm some socially inept loser but I honestly don't have any close friends besides Alpha phi.
Basically during my senior year of HS I took a step back from the friend thing. I first of all, was older than everyone in my class, secondly, I wasn't into all the same recreational things as they were.
Not to sound big headed but I was more mature than most of them. I still see some old friends around but I don't keep in touch with any of them.
I tried after HS to keep in touch. I invited my two closest friends to my bridal shower and wedding. (married just a month after I graduated) One showed up for 5 minutes at my shower and one didn't show at all. The one that didn't also did not show up at my wedding. The one that did show up came to my wedding and kinda helped us get ready but then only showed up for 5 minutes at the reception. The entire time she was at the reception she made fun of my brother who at the time had a huge crush on her. That experience really hurt me. Now it seems like everytime I start to make a friend, they stab me in the back.

Alpha phi has the same things happen to him. We stick together and are the best of friends.
I'd still like a girl friend I can chit chat with about sex, periods, love, careers, pets, books and so on.
I love the ladies lounge because I actually get to talk to other women about these things. Hugs all around and a big thank-you.
