I need the device to be as practical and dependable as a cel phone can be (which in my area = Verizon ) and I want a good organizer that will sync up easily with my iBook G4 that I just bought. I really need to keep my calendar and phone book up to date and with me at all times.
If it's not easy to use (and sync) and not dependable as a Palm or phone, then it's of absolutely no use to me. Receiving email isn't first on my list right now, but I can see this changing in the near future.
Ahh, is technology really good for us or just an ever tightening noose around our straining necks?
Thanks for your help!

Wife has a Treo 6500, uses it with both her G3 iBook and my G4 iMac. Flawless so far. I've only heard vague reports of iCal "issues" but that's not an app we use.
