Clearing the entire thing if you share the computer looks suspicious.
If you aren't weary of editing the registry, then open regedit and go to:
HKEY_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
and edit the ones that you don't want to show to say something else, like
http://www.espn.com
