The 3800 series engines are famous and widely used in GM's cars. In the 99's it's a Series II, which it is very possible to get a supercharger for right from GM. It's on the list of things to do, actually and will probably be one of the first due to it's relative simplicity. I would be very surprised though if a GM dealership would warranty my engine with a supercharger on it. If I wanted a warranty I'd likely have to crate a brand new engine, which while it would be nice is a bit more than I can afford right now. They'll sell me the charger, but they're not going to warranty it.
But yeah, I tend to think of Monte Z34's as an underrated cars. It's not like the old SS cars, but I imagine she'll move right along with a bit of work.

I've heard of some dealerships warrantying aftermarket parts when it is a GMAC part and they do the install. Usually it's on a basically new car getting a factory option installed later though, like a regular Gran Prix getting a supercharger as goes on the GTP.
