The Upside of Anger - Starring Kevin (Please Stop Making Movies) Costner and Joan (MILF) Allen plus four young women who are trying to break into the Hollywood scene (Christensen, Russell, E.R. Wood and some other chick) but will have to work a lot harder after this movie to prove themselves again.
This movie was a piece of shit. A detestable, pointless, aimless script with far too few moments of humour to be called comedic, far too few moments of drama to be called drama, but plenty of moments of pure shit, so I call this movie a shitty movie. Allen has to drink a lot in this movie, and act drunk which she does poorly. She yells a lot and Costner drinks a lot and swears and tries to tap Allen, which he does get to eventually. The girls try to grow up in their disfunctional family, seemingly untouched by the absence of their father, seemingly happier with the Coster-dad than their real one.
It would be pointless to try to make sense of this film, so I will not. I will not further berate this film because I think what I have written will suffice. It sucked, I hated it. Kevin Costner is a terrible actor. (rating -10/10
