This is great advice!!!!
I hear about people all the time - including my wife - that forget to ask all the questions they might have before leaving a caregiver's office. You have to take personal responsibility. Doctors are busy people and some forget. Most will take the time if you have questions. If they don't/won't, it may be time to find a new one.
I try to think about a visit as if I own it, which I do. As such, I'll visualize things and write down as many questions as possible. Then, I write down new questions while I'm there. I certainly have no problem calling back after I leave with more questions. After all, I'm the one that lives with this body for the rest of my life, and I have to take full ownership!!
