My mother is so confusing when it comes to money.

She'll complain one day how she's "running out of money."

Not 2 days ago she just bought, in cash, a 2005 Infiniti G35.

Now, she's not rich, but she's fairly well off. I'd like to think she just wants something to complain about since she doesn't work at all (was left money when my father died).

This just confuses me. Why would someone say they're running out of money and act as if they're going through rough times, when in fact, they're not? Wtf?

She paid cash for the house she lives in (in a country club community ON A GOLF COURSE no less), and the only things she pays are her bills and a lease on another car of hers that's ending this October.

She goes and says to me the other day, "Just quit your crappy PT job, I have money for you." (needless to say I haven't quit...)

Just venting a bit. I don't understand her sometimes.
