I'd be interested in the same idea, folks.
I'm running a laptop with XP pro, and a desktop wth XP home.
I've tried everything (including getting my best mate who is a university IT network communications technician to look into it) to get my home network to allow printer and file sharing, and it can't be done for various reasons to do with firewalls and incompatable AV suites etc.
If there is a way that I can send documents to print on the fixed PC via the net I'd love to know it - righnow I have to send the files to the other PC if I made them here and remember to delete the "spare" version. If I could print by "the net" I'd find that helpful.
Can anyone tink of a way I can do this without needing extra hardware, or letting down the sheilds on either PC?
