First of all, and not to be a jerk, but quoting Hubbard is lame- that guy was, beyond anyone's doubt, clinically insane. If you believe his BS, you have to believe pretty much anything.
Secondly, while of course Ladder Theory does not explain EVERYTHING, it is a good place to start. There are plenty of areas where its simple, cynical explanation suffices. That's not to say you shouldn't take it with a grain of salt; it's obviously written as both satire and humour.
Thirdly, women are not really more complicated than men, they are just entirely alien to us men, so it's hard to understand at first. Just spend enough time with a girl on an intimate level, like months and years, and you'll figure them out to the same degree that you do men.
