This is the thing though, the greens <i>weren't</i> rock hard. They were just designed to have drop offs and run offs all the way around. Think of a turtle's shell and that's similar to the style of greens they were playing. The course was in tip-top shape.
Anyway, I do agree with the fact that Tiger should have played the ball better. I was rooting for Toms but.. he seems to be on the down slope lately. That's just the way it is in golf. You have to be perfect on nearly every shot in order to stay consistent. That's a tough feat for anyone to do.
